Sandra Linares’s love for art began with her admiration for iconic painters Frida Kahlo and Georgia O’Keeffe. Growing up in East Los Angeles, she was introduced to their work at a young age and was immediately inspired to begin painting herself.

Sandra primarily works with acrylics and oils, creating expressionistic pieces that reflect deep emotion and personal connection to nature. Now based in Yucaipa, California, she frequently travels to Joshua Tree and its surrounding desert landscapes. She finds the beauty of Joshua Tree both liberating and inspiring—a place where she feels a profound sense of freedom, joy, and peace that fuels her creativity.
